What the site uses
MEMORIES uses the technology needed to run the site: local storage to remember your light or dark theme and your analytics choice, and standard hosting and security logs. We count visits, and how far people get through the journey form (which step was reached, never what was typed), with Vercel Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not identify you. On private plan pages the plan's link is removed from the address before the visit is counted. Only if you allow it, we also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies (named _ga) to measure how many people visit, from which country and city, and which pages they use. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use analytics for advertising or sell it to anyone.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files placed on a browser. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. Strictly necessary technologies support security, navigation, preferences and form operation. Optional analytics or marketing technologies measure audiences or personalize advertising and generally require a separate choice where applicable.
Your controls
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you allow Google Analytics. Nothing from Google loads until you accept, and saying no changes nothing else about the site. You can change your choice at any time on this page; refusing later also removes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser. Google Analytics is never loaded on private plan pages, whose addresses carry your plan's private link. You can also clear browser storage or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential storage may reset your theme choice.
If this changes
Before adding advertising pixels or any other non-essential tracking, we will update this notice and ask you first.
